Hello my loves, I’m Laura González!

Rev. Laura González is a Spiritual & Community Healer, Priestess, and Minister who utilizes her intuitive gifts in her work. She practices Traditional Mexican Folk Magic, Native Philosophies, and North American Paganism within the Goddess tradition. Laura holds the role of Ixtlamatketl for Kalpulli Xinachtli Xochikalli, a Chicago-based community practicing the Nahua Tradition of Mexico, where she provides guidance and supports community harmony.

Her community activism is deeply intertwined with her spiritual practice. Laura advocates for Indigenous, Pagan, and LGBTQIA communities, and is passionate about women’s rights, suicide prevention, and diversity inclusion.

Laura has co-edited the e-zine El Caldero and has contributed articles to Circle Sanctuary Magazine. Her written collaborations appear in several notable books, including:

She has presented workshops at significant events such as the Parliament of the World's Religions, Greater Chicagoland Pagan Pride Day, Fort Wayne Pagan Pride Day, North Western Indiana Pagan Pride Day, St. Louis Pagan Picnic, Circle Sanctuary, and Pagan Spirit Gathering.

In her community, Laura serves as a resident Bruja (healer) and volunteers as an ESL teacher at the Aquinas Literacy Center. She is also a popular podcaster and producer of Lunatic Mondays and Paganos del Mundo, and manages Circle Sanctuary Network Podcasts.

Vision

The Blue Witch vision is to empower individuals through feminist witchcraft, rooted in the practice of harnessing personal and collective power. We champion inclusivity, intersectionality, and adaptability, continuously evolving to foster equity and self-actualization. As we listen deeply to the needs of our community, we aim to create space for renewal and transformation. Grounded in the belief that witchcraft is the ability to change consciousness at will and wield that will consciously, we strive to align intentional thought with deliberate action, creating pathways for healing, justice, and growth.

Mission

The Blue Witch mission is to empower individuals to reconnect with their inherent magic by providing teachings, tools, and rituals that guide them back to the source of their inner power. We believe that each person is born perfect, but over time, we accumulate burdens that distance us from our true selves. Through harnessing power, community gatherings, and intentional practice, we help individuals strip away these layers to rediscover their original, beautiful selves. We bridge the gap between the wisdom of the inner child and the strength of adulthood, offering a path of healing, learning, and liberation. As a community, we share tools and knowledge, creating space for each person to clear their own path and, in turn, help others do the same.
